RFX5002 is the first and only fully integrated, dual-band 2.4GHz/5.0GHz, single-chip, single-die RFeIC (RF Front-end Integrated Circuit) available in the market. RFX5002 architecture integrates the PA(s), LNA(s), Transmit and Receive switching circuitry, the associated matching networks, and the harmonic filter(s) all in a BiCMOS single-chip device. This RFeIC is designed for use in 802.11n/a/b/g applications operating at both 2.4GHz and 5 GHz. Combining superior performance, high sensitivity and efficiency, low noise, small form factor, and low cost, RFX5002 is the perfect solution for dual-band single-antenna applications, and/or an ideal building block for MIMO applications. RFX5002 requires minimal external components including only one external power supply capacitor and the desired band- pass filter(s) for the receive path(s). The power detect circuit is also integrated.
